Chico Racing 2011 MTB Calendar with Special Updates
May 1, 2011 Ontario Cup #1, Mansfield A favorite spring venue due to its' excellent drainage, this is a great early season course. A great test of early season fitness.
May 15, 2011 Plastiglas Ontario Cup #2, Woodnewton Chico has listened to riders and we have added a nice rock garden, as well as an "old school" technical, steep up and down rooty trail. Last year was our first crack at developing this venue, and it is going to get even better with age.
May 28, 2011 Spring Epic 8 Hour, MansfieldGreat for riders of all ability levels. Passing friendly course, fun singletrack and a really cool Epic 8 Kid's Course. Camping on site makes this an easy race to do.
June 12, 2011 Plastiglas Ontario Cup #4, Albion HillsJune is Albion's bike month. Fast, flowy and with a little more edge than past Ocup courses at Albion.
June 25-26, 2011 24 Hours of Summer Solstice MTB FestivalThis is a mountain bike holiday for your friends and family with bands, kid's race, kid's zone, amazing expo area, camping and amenities. With the trail grants Albion Hills continues to evolve and improve, including the nicest singletrack (and most weather resistant) we have ever put in a 24 hour.
July 10, 2011 Plastiglas Ontario Cup #5, Buckwallow Cycling Centre Mike continues to WOW riders with a technical, yet flowing race course in the heart of Muskoka.
August 7, 2011 Plastiglas Ontario Cup #6, Kelso Conservation Area Ontario's oldest mountain bike venue is still a must-do race course!
August 27-28 24 Hours at Albion: Hot August Nights Mtb Festival Same great flavor as the Solstice, yet with a different course! The 3-4 Person No-Night Category means riders without lights, or night riding experience can be part of a team. Finish off summer and the race season with a truly amazing experience.
September 11 Plastiglas Ontario MTB Championships, Hightlands Nordic Just south of Collingwood this venue is being developed by a legendary trail builder in the community. Also a great place to x-country ski in the winter.
